Hi I’m Evi a photographer with a camera in one hand and a hat on my head (99% of the time — the other 1% is probably a bad hair day ;-)) born in Poland , calling Vienna home for almost two decades now - yes, I swapped pierogi for schnitzel, but I still love both.
When I'm not behind the camera, I'm hanging out with Frank – my bulldog and self-appointed assistant. He’s a pro at stealing snacks, posing for the occasional ‘cute distraction and making sure I never take myself too seriously.
My camera has led me to amazing places around the world, but it’s the people I photograph that truly inspire me. Their faces, their stories, their unfiltered moments — that’s where the magic begins. Black and white photography stole my heart from the very beginning – I believe that when you strip away the noise of color, what’s left is something deeper: honest, raw emotion. It feels timeless.
Photography is more than just just taking pictures for me: It’s how I connect with moments that might otherwise go unnoticed. I’m fascinated by the in-between: the quiet glances, the genuine laughter, the beauty in imperfection.
I’m drawn to people — their quirks, their quiet moments, their loud laughter — and I aim to capture the kind of images that make you feel something. Not just scroll and forget.
Also, the hat? It’s not just fashion — it’s part of the creative process. Probably magic. Definitely staying on ;-)
